Rare images with a personal glimpse into Andy’s Factory days
of a much younger pre-wig Andy…
An incredibly rare collection presented brilliantly

RARE MOIRE ENCASED PORTFOLIO OF EDIE SEDGWICK PHOTOGRAPHS BY NAT FINKELSTEIN c. 1965 – 1966
Nat Finkelstein was a photographer in Andy Warhol’s Factory for three years
Within this portfolio are contained four original chromogenic photographs from 1965 – 1966 mounted between dibond aluminum and UV acrylic, signed and dated by Nat Finkelstein, and labeled HC 2/3 (2 from an edition of 3 Hors Commerce)
The printing is by Laumont Editions, the printer for artists such as Nan Goldin, Stephen Shore, and Joel Sternfeld
The images are so intimate that you feel as though you are being let in on a secret
with colors very representative of the time
a quality that is daunting
and with the physical weight of the aluminum combined with the high gloss of the acrylic, and the moire covered case with silver embossed lettering, you’ll realize you’ve never seen anything like this. A gem-like portfolio in a jewel case.

It’s a great place to hang out and catch the scent of wisteria on the breeze. From our door, we look right into the sides of the Williamsburg Bridge and the Domino Sugar Factory (check out the reflection in the front windows)…we love it here.
